Why Choose the SolarCleano L1?

The L1 is the fastest cleaning robot in the SolarCleano range, reaching speeds of up to 40 metres per minute. This translates into very high work efficiency: one robot operated by one person can clean a solar installation of approximately 3.5 MW within a single working day. It is designed for C&I installations and smaller solar farms, where fast, repeatable cleaning of large areas is essential.

Quality and Safety Confirmed by Testing

Every L1 unit undergoes an electroluminescence test confirming the absence of microcracks in the cells after cleaning — this is an important safeguard for the investor, as the robot does not create an additional risk of damaging the panels during operation.

The robot connects to a standard garden hose with a diameter of 13–15 mm, at a water pressure ranging from 2.0–8.0 bar, while valves allow water consumption to be controlled during wet cleaning. Power is supplied by lithium-ion batteries with a central electrical control box, providing approximately 4 hours of autonomous operation on a single charge.

Brush Configuration

The L1 is available in two brush configurations: with two long brushes or with one long brush and two short brushes. The 2.45 m-long helical brushes combine two types of bristles — harder, coloured bristles and soft, black bristles — selected according to the type and degree of dirt on the installation: Blue (soft) — for dry cleaning. Yellow (standard) — for light dirt during wet cleaning. Green (hard) — for normal and heavier dirt during wet cleaning. Red (very hard) — for heavy and very heavy dirt during wet cleaning.

Modular, mobile design

The robot separates into 3 parts, making transportation and handling easier — it can be operated by one person using suitable transport equipment. Assembly and disassembly of the L1 takes approximately 5 minutes, allowing the service team to efficiently move the robot between successive sites during the working day.
